A New Direction

I made you something to wear 🧶

For years now, I've filled your homes with the cozy stuff — pumpkins, pillows, ornaments, all the little things that make a space feel like yours. But lately I kept circling the same thought: I want to make things you actually wear. Pieces that leave the house with you.

So this is the start of something new for SeeLoveShare — wearables — and I couldn't think of a better place to begin than with a cardigan a total beginner can actually finish. I'd love for you to come along with me. 🤍

The Striped Cardigan

Soft pastel stripes, each one outlined in gray so the colors read like panes of stained glass. Worked from the shoulders down in one continuous piece — which is the secret to why it actually fits.

Here's why I think it's the perfect first wearable, even if you've never made a garment before:

• Only two stitches the whole way through — half double and single crochet. That's it.
• Completely seamless. No shoulder seams, no side seams, no sleeves to set in — the part where most cardigans go wrong simply doesn't exist here.
• No blocking. The one in these photos was never blocked, not once.
• Top-down, so you try it on as you go and stop the crop exactly where you like it.
• Nine sizes, XS to 5X — every size written out in full, because everyone deserves one that fits.

And here's my favorite part — that's me trying it on mid-make, ends still hanging. Because it's worked top-down, you slip it on as you go to check the fit and set the crop exactly where you want it. It's how you end up with a cardigan that fits you, not a size chart. 😄

Honestly? I'm so proud of how this one turned out. It's the first thing I've designed that I'm genuinely going to live in — the moment I'm finally done hanging it up and just staring at it. 🙈
