Bobble Stitch 101

The little stitch behind all your favorites

You know that squishy, poppy little bump that gives my pillows all their texture? That's the bobble stitch — and once it clicks, it's honestly addictive. Here's the whole thing in three little moves.

How the bobble works

1
Yarn over, pop your hook into the stitch, and pull up a loop — but don't close it off yet.
2
Do that five times into the same stitch, letting the little loops pile up on your hook.
3
Yarn over once more and pull through everything at once. Hello, bobble — a plump little bump that pops right off the fabric.

Seeing it is everything. My full video walks through every wrap and pull, slow enough to follow along.

A New Direction I made you something to wear 🧶 For years now, I've filled your homes with the cozy stuff — pumpkins, pillows, ornaments, all the little things that make a space feel like yours. But lately I kept circling the same thought: I want to make things you actually wear. Pieces that leave the house with you. So this is the start of something new for SeeLoveShare — wearables — and I couldn't think of a better place to begin than with a cardigan a total beginner can actually finish. I'd...

Spooky Season Is Here Cast on something a little spooky 🎃 Last week we celebrated my daughter Sophie's 3rd birthday 🎂 — and in our house, her birthday is the unofficial starting gun for Halloween. Down come the bins from the attic, "help" is enthusiastically supplied by Hudson (4) and Sophie (3), and the decorating begins. This year we're a little behind, though. Our neighbours already have their full-size skeletons posted up on the porch, staring us down — so we've got some serious catching...
